Ultrasonic Microscope with phase contrast

 

The device has following elements:

• Two horizontal xes with 10cm movement (step motors), with end switches;
• One vertical axe with 5cm movement with end switches and rotational incremental encoder;
• Support plate with ultrasonic system for position control and hand movement possibility, that can be placed on the water containment or on the table (with integrated legs);
• Ultrasonic sender and receiver, both for bursts and pulses;.
• Control electronics for step motors;
• Water containment, suitable for placing the support plate with the scanner.

Positioning accuracy 1 micrometer, reading of position with larger accuracy.
