Formation of acoustic waves

The left picture shows the cross-section of the sound field produced with the typical focusing transducer, the right after our wavecorrector was used.

Both pictures was taken, using a small transducer, moving on the spherical path with the center in the center of the wave field. Because the shape of the amplitude distribution along this paths is pure gauss function, such corrector can be used for generation of very good gaussian wavefields.
